Brian Lara Stadium

Hi good afternoon the topic above is coming from the fact that I'm hearing that this stadium does not have a certified document from the International Cricket Council to stating that it can host international cricket. First of all in 2004 when Brian Lara had scored 400 in the fourth test match against England he was promised this stadium which took forever to finish build but thank God it was eventually finished then we were lucky to have CPL Caribbean Premier League in this stadium so I though all this had been taken care of, but this week we learnt that the stadium was not approved to host international cricket. Now this stadium is very beautiful and I believe it will be an excellent international venue but everything about this stadium is very slow in doing to build it took about 10 years then now after using it on a consistent basis for the past 3 years and still not having documents from the International Cricket Council is a big disappointment and this stadium was build for our best batman we ever produced in the West Indies.

Brian Lara finished his international career after the 2007 Cricket World Cup 12 years ago he broke Matthew Hayden 380 runs 15 years ago and this man should have already seen many test and ODI cricket in his stadium for a man who represented the West Indies and has so many records I don't believe we did him justice with this stadium as yet now don't get me out of context he has a stadium in his name put everything had moved to slow to honnor this icon of West Indies Cricket and son of this soil hoping we get this stadium up to international approval soon and till the next one this has been Chris discussing daily topics.
