50,000 New Jobs

Hi good afternoon the topic today 50,000 new job. On Sunday 28th April the United National Congress held it's 30th Anniversary Celebration and the leader of the Opposition stated that if elected back to office she would created 50,000 new jobs for the citizens, for some this would come as a relief seeing many people have been layed off over the last two years for one reason or the other, but first let's reflect a bit on Sunday's Anniversary Celebration which seemed to be a huge success for the Opposition party in Trinidad and Tobago right now. It was a sea of yellow as people when to couva to celebrate with their party, also their was praise for our former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday the man who also started this party and as stated former Prime Minister from 1995-2001, now let's get back on track to this story I have been following the Opposition Leader Monday night meeting and interviews for some months now and one thing that has caught my eye is that she has ask citizens for a second chance and apologize for her mistakes that she made in her first term of office, now that something I admire from anyone you don't have to be in high office but once you can say sorry it say's a lot about you as a person, continuing Mrs. Kamla Persad Bissessar was our first female Prime Minister her term of office from 2010-2015 our country employment level was very good with lots of people being employed, also taxes were not as high as it now, Mrs Persad Bissessar reduced vat on hundreds of food items, our gas was at a fixed price for her whole term in office and these are just some of what she really did and not trying to offend no one this woman did a lot, I also remembered her last year when we had floods after a week of rain was giving citizens food supplies to affected citizens and i will give about two or three more things she did they are bringing and end to land and building taxes and increased minimum wage now that enough on what she did Mrs. Persad Bissessar performed butblet's stay focused on what is needed at this time more people to be employed in my country that's a given but she has good ideas but we need a leader who will work for us for five years not the last year before an election, I want my people to be represented no matter what I want my health system to save more lives the health care system need a 100 percent upgrade and yes when elections come we will hear the best on the platform but Mrs. Persad Bissessar I saw what you did from 2010- 2015 you were a performer I say that knowing you did service in your five years in office I just don't want to see you as a politician that promises and not deliver but all being said best of luck to you on the road to 2020 and till the next one this has been Chris discussing daily topics.

Are we using our Tourism to our best abality

Hi good afternoon Tourism is on my mind as well this evening, I will explain something I love to read because that how your knowledge gets better so I'm here and reading how my country tourism is not what it used to be I'm from Trinidad and Tobago a country know for its Carnival but we are so much more than our carnival we have lovely beaches a bucco reef, we have the longest round about in the world a pitch lake a beautiful sister isle in Tobago we have many food dishes. Now for example our Caribbean neighbour Jamaica doesn't seem to have any problem promoting their tourism, I see many stars talking bout how the want to go to Jamaica so they must be doing something that we are not doing, so I was thinking since we are also in the same Caribbean region what can we do to promote our tourism and bring it up to the standard Jamaica is at right now. Tourism helps my country foreign exchange the more tourist that arrives on our shores is a boost to our encomy. So we have to start getting tourist to come back, Tobago Jazz Festival is currently on show with stars like Micheal Bolton, Toni Braxton just to name a few I feel we need more events like these to help our tourism get back on track plus we should invest in promoting our country with more documentary programmes so the world would see us, also our food have food festivals tourist love these sort of events sports also is a good way of promoting our tourism more sport will bring in people from all over the world that being said our ministry of tourism will need to work harder to keep up with the rest of our Caribbean countries cause they are finding inventive ways to promote their tourism it's not a competition but everyone wants to promote their country to the world that being said that my blog for today till the next.

West Indies World Cup Squad 2019

Hi good afternoon the topic today West Indies World Cup Squad for the 2019 world cup, there was talk about how the west indies cricket board had reached out to senior player who had no play international cricket for a while and player like Pollard and Dwayne Bravo had made themselves available for selection also Marlon Samuels and Lendl Simmons names were being called now this is a world cup and I believe that the squad lacks match winners these four I believe would have added more value to the current team. With Andre Superman Russell back and Chris Gayle or best ODI batmans the Caribbean has ever produced and if we had Pollard, Dawyne Bravo, Samuels and Simmons our batting line up would have been looking very good because with their experience it would of made us more potent challengers, but that being said let take the comparisons Dwayne Bravo to Carlos Brathwaite, Dawyne Bravo has 199 ODI wickets 2 ODI centuries and a former captain of the squad Brathwaite yes the former T20 captain hasn't done much playing for the West Indies he has 1 ODI half century to his name and a handful of wickets to his name also I think I said enough there Pollard a global star in world cricket today and a big hitter a man that started playing for West Indies in 2007 and has made centuries against sides like Australia and other top countries has been left out this also I can't understand moving on further Marlon Samuels should have been on this side proven match winner for the West Indies in the past is left out,Samuels career speaks for it self match winner in 2012 T20 final in Sri Lanka match winner in 2016 T20 final in India against England 10 ODI centuries I also leave that right there. Lendl Simmons opening batsman seasoned opening batsman would has been the best choice to partner Chris Gayle on top of the innings, Simmons is know all over the world his experience would of been good for the team. West Indies haven't won a world cup since 1979 I wasn't even born as yet and I don't think the squad has the men to take it. On a brighter side Darren Bravo is in Russell is back Shai Hope decent batsman will have to perform well to support the big Jamaican Chris Gayle who is going to be crucial can stress on that enough. Let's focus on our blowers Shannon Gabriel is in I'm glad for that kemar Roach improved a lot our captain Jason Holder good inclusion but our Spin blowers don't see them being to effective Nurse and Allen so I think we are going to need our fast  blowers alot in this tournament. Was looking for a better squad seeing how we had a new chairman of selectors and new cricket board president but this looks like this team was selected months ago and they trying to say it was selected this week either how let's see how it goes till the next one this has been Chris discussing daily topics.

Lack of jobs for young people in my country

Hi good afternoon I'm here today to discuss a topic in my country which seems not to be getting better that topic being lack of jobs for young people. First of all I'm from Trinidad and Tobago a Caribbean island in the West Indies but sticking to my topic I believe that there are not enough jobs for qualified young people in my country. We all are encouraged to go to school when we are small but we are not being rewarded for getting an education because I know people who have 5 CXC passes including mathematics and English working in fast food outlets and in the gas station for minimum wage, now don't get me out of context but I believe if someone gets up and decides to educate themselves from primary school writes our S.E.A. Examination then goes into secondary school comes out with 5 or 6 CXC passes then goes on and does C.A.P.E. exams and still dedicates his or herself to study another 4 to 5 Years in an University then i believe that a person who does all of that must have choices for a good job because you went through years of struggle to study to get an education, but for some who go through this sarcrife for a better live for themselves have to take jobs that they are under paid and not getting value for their education. Now I believe that something must be done otherwise people might start thinking that what is all this sarcrife for I'm educating myself and can't get a good paying job we need to start making sure people with education are given good jobs so they can feel like all of those days and nights wasn't in vain. This is 2019 put something in place where you can go and sign up for work because you are qualified to work and enhance your country so you can live a decent live and be an encouragement to someone younger so they can see the value of an education this is something I hope the government in my country sees and addresses well that all for this topic till the next one this has been Chris discussing daily topics.

Technology

Hi good afternoon I'm here to talk today about technology  and how it makes ourlives easier on a day to day basis. I myself use technology on a daily basis for instance when I was thinking about becoming a blogger I used the internet to see what it was all about that being said technology we have today wasn't around 30 years ago this being said this has helped the world move forward. Technology has helped to give us Facebook,Instgram,Google and YouTube and so much more, but I like to talk about the four I listed. Facebook is something that has given someone like myself living in Trinidad and Tobago an opportunity to message someone in England in a minute and get a response back without mailing a letter. Instgram is another feature of the world of technology today you can post a photo of yourself and get thousands of likes and comments around the world from people you don't even know. Google this in my view is the the internet as I said my view you can gather information by just entering what you want search and it comes up in minutes you also get others opinions  who are in your field so it makes your work, studies and projects easier to do. Youtube this is an amazing creation I took some cooking lesson on you tube that just to show how their do it yourself videos are helpful in everyday life they also have video in fitness, making money online, music videos and you can create your own channel there that being said I know the internet was around 30 years ago but it is more updated now in 2019, I touched on these four because I know people use them almost on a daily basis but there are so many more than these four I have listed that being said that my blog for today hope you enjoyed it.

Hi good evening everyone I'm writing today about something we take for granted which is our overall fitness and keeping ourselves in good overall shape. Studies have shown working out daily can extend our life's for years but yet some of us don't really like to do it for some reason, letting ourselves become victim to poor heath and obesity, now I'm not saying work out like if your a pro athlete but I'm saying you can do a half hour workout right from your home if you don't like going to the gym and if you don't know what type of exersie to do there are many exercise videos on Instagram which help and show people easy ways to workout example Jeremy Scott fitness he has some amazing home workout videos he streams on instgrami showing you great ways how to keep fit at home, I myself have posted some workout videos on instgram so that an option if you don't like to go to the gym. Daily workout help you and your body to feel good it will hurt in the begining but that's how you know your exersie is working for you and you feel great when you look in the mirror that being said that all from me today remember to leave a comment I answer..

West Indies Women Squad

Hi and hello to everyone this is my first post as a blogger so hello to all the blogger out here. I like to discuss this topic thats on my mind about the exclusion of two female cricketers of the West Indies Women Cricket Team that will tour Ireland and England from May 21 to June 26, the two cricketers I'm speaking about is former captain Merissa Aguilleira and Anisa Mohammed to veterans of the squad. Interim chairman of selectors Robert Haynes stated that the two cricketers performance was not what they were looking for coming out of the recently completed Regional Women Super 50 tournament held in Guyana. But in my mind I'm shock to see these two left out knowing they nature of this tour. Aguilleira in my mind would have added her experience as a former captain and senior player to this squad on this tour I will be honest her performances have varied in the past 15 months but I still think she did enough to make the squad to go to England. Now Anisa is one of our most senior blowers on the squad and I think everyone know of what she has done in the past and yet again I think she also did enough in the Super 50 Women Championship to make the squad to England. I saw this and just wanted to put this out there if anyone supports my view let me know by leaving a comment even if you don't agree with my statement you can still leave a comment.
