West Indies World Cup Squad 2019

Hi good afternoon the topic today West Indies World Cup Squad for the 2019 world cup, there was talk about how the west indies cricket board had reached out to senior player who had no play international cricket for a while and player like Pollard and Dwayne Bravo had made themselves available for selection also Marlon Samuels and Lendl Simmons names were being called now this is a world cup and I believe that the squad lacks match winners these four I believe would have added more value to the current team. With Andre Superman Russell back and Chris Gayle or best ODI batmans the Caribbean has ever produced and if we had Pollard, Dawyne Bravo, Samuels and Simmons our batting line up would have been looking very good because with their experience it would of made us more potent challengers, but that being said let take the comparisons Dwayne Bravo to Carlos Brathwaite, Dawyne Bravo has 199 ODI wickets 2 ODI centuries and a former captain of the squad Brathwaite yes the former T20 captain hasn't done much playing for the West Indies he has 1 ODI half century to his name and a handful of wickets to his name also I think I said enough there Pollard a global star in world cricket today and a big hitter a man that started playing for West Indies in 2007 and has made centuries against sides like Australia and other top countries has been left out this also I can't understand moving on further Marlon Samuels should have been on this side proven match winner for the West Indies in the past is left out,Samuels career speaks for it self match winner in 2012 T20 final in Sri Lanka match winner in 2016 T20 final in India against England 10 ODI centuries I also leave that right there. Lendl Simmons opening batsman seasoned opening batsman would has been the best choice to partner Chris Gayle on top of the innings, Simmons is know all over the world his experience would of been good for the team. West Indies haven't won a world cup since 1979 I wasn't even born as yet and I don't think the squad has the men to take it. On a brighter side Darren Bravo is in Russell is back Shai Hope decent batsman will have to perform well to support the big Jamaican Chris Gayle who is going to be crucial can stress on that enough. Let's focus on our blowers Shannon Gabriel is in I'm glad for that kemar Roach improved a lot our captain Jason Holder good inclusion but our Spin blowers don't see them being to effective Nurse and Allen so I think we are going to need our fast  blowers alot in this tournament. Was looking for a better squad seeing how we had a new chairman of selectors and new cricket board president but this looks like this team was selected months ago and they trying to say it was selected this week either how let's see how it goes till the next one this has been Chris discussing daily topics.
